Adventure excellent cheetah and leopard drives and see about 15 different species of game and rich birdlife on the safari game drive. A early morning special mountain drive with different view points and the possibility to see the rare and endemic Hartmann mountain zebra is offered free if you stay two or more nights. Feel space, clean air and tranquility or enjoy four well marked walking trails or horseback riding. Enjoy a swim or the atmosphere around our big pool.
We run and manage the farm in an environmental friendly way and participate in the Namibian eco award. In 2005 and in 2007 we got three and in 2008 we been awarded with four out five flowers. Except for one or two wilderness Lodges we are the only safari guest farm in Namibia with such a high rating. If your senses like the mix of historical flair, eco management, pure nature and space, conservation of rare and endangered species, adventure, personal service, individual people and a family atmosphere, than you should be our guest.
Number of rooms: six double units and one single. All rooms are individually furnished, partly antique, partly specially made furniture. Limited camping, but what you take in you take out not to create a baboon problem.
★★★★★ We stayed at the property for 2 nights. The location and surroundings are worth the trip, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to ask for a lot of things, which were then done. One should offer coffee and some cake for the afternoon.

★★★★★ We were really looking forward to our stay there but due to a heavy big tree in the road to the lodge we did not get to the lodge. We had to go all the way back to Windhoek and booked in at the Protea Hotel just to get a place to stay and it was twice as expensive. I also paid a deposit and would like to know if I can get that back please.

We could not prepare a meal as the braai area is outside and it was raining, no other self cateri... Read more

Establishment Response:Dear Mr Nel,thank you for your time to review my campsite even if you have not been happy. You must... Read more
